Soft Surgery is an innovative medical plasma device, developed as an alternative to traditional surgical procedures. By ionising the gases in the air just above the skin's surface, it produces a tiny plasma arc that gently sublimates tissue with extraordinary precision.
The result is controlled contraction and tightening of the skin with no cutting, no stitches and minimal downtime compared with traditional surgery. The most popular use is non-surgical eye lifts (blepharoplasty), where it can give a dramatic lift to hooded or sagging eyelids without the risks, cost or recovery of going under the knife.
Other applications include lip lines, crow's feet, jowls, stretch marks, scars and the removal of skin tags, moles and other benign skin lesions. Treatment takes 30–60 minutes under topical anaesthetic. Tiny carbon crusts form on the surface and naturally flake away over the following week.
Results are visible immediately and continue to improve as fresh collagen rebuilds over the following 8–12 weeks. Most areas need only one treatment for an excellent outcome, though some clients opt for a refresher 12 months later.
